✅ Union River Lobster Pot This spot is one of the few places near the park that stays open late. Prices are moderate, and the lobster dinner comes with a decent portion—alongside the lobster, you get a heaping plate of mussels and clams. The ingredients are super fresh, though the clams had a bit of sand left unrinsed. I just checked before posting, and they close during the off-season, so keep that in mind! 🦞 ✅ Jordan‘s Restaurant A breakfast spot in downtown Bar Harbor. Their blueberry muffin 🫐 is highly recommended—the blueberry pancakes are great too, and don’t forget to add blueberry jam! Skip the blueberry pie though: as a born-and-raised Chinese, I just don’t get the appeal of that dollop of cream on top. The omelet is pretty hearty, and their clam chowder is the least heavy on cream and salt out of all I tried these days. A warm bowl in the morning? Totally worth it. 🥣 ⭐️ Rodick‘s Takeout ⭐️ I cannot recommend this enough!! Trust me, it’s a must-visit—absolute king of value! The server lady at my breakfast spot told me about this place, and it’s a game-changer. Their lobster dinner is only $20: 1 1/4 pounds of lobster, plus a box of fries and bread (the softest little rolls I’ve had in ages). Their fried chicken strips and fried clams are also so good. The best part? Five of us had a full lobster feast, and it was only $160 including tip—insane value! The lady also recommended Downeast Lobster Pound. I didn’t get to check it out, but the menu prices look really reasonable. ✅ Reading Room Restaurant This is the in-house restaurant at Bar Harbor Inn & Spa. Breakfast prices are fair, and you can sit on the patio to enjoy the ocean view—watching trucks load up with freshly caught lobsters 🚢 is so relaxing. I had this on my breakfast bucket list beforehand, but missed it because I was in a hurry, so I can’t comment on the food’s taste. ✅ Bar Harbor Lobster Pound Their lobster roll is 6oz for $34—not the most budget-friendly, but it makes up for it with freshness. The lobster meat is nice and firm. 🥪 ✅ Jordon Pond Ice Cream Rich and creamy without being overly sweet—but only the blueberry flavor. So my recommendation is strictly for the blueberry one! 🍦 ✅ The Stadium Picked up two flat whites on my way back—super fragrant and rich. ☕️ Also, there are Hannaford, Shaw’s, and Walmart near the town, so grocery shopping is super convenient! #Acadia #AcadiaNationalPark #AcadiaFood #AcadiaGuide #Maine #MaineTravel #BostonArea #BarHarbor #BarHarborFood
