Travel Plog|In Greece🇬🇷|Zakynthos
Sailing on a small boat, drifting in this deep blue glow🛥 Zakynthos is a small island in Greece. The town area isn’t large, but the sea is truly stunning. It’s also a filming location for Descendants of the Sun (though I’ve never watched it). 📍Transportation in Zakynthos isn’t super convenient🚗 Getting around relies on taxis, usually costing around €10-25 to explore the entire island. They seem to have fixed prices, so there’s no risk of price gouging. The locals on this island are actually super friendly🤣 Basic English is enough to communicate clearly. During my few days on the island: Day 1: One-day small group tour, €90 The guide was a local Greek. Round-trip transportation was included. The itinerary was packed—from 8:30 AM to around 5 PM. We visited: Shipwreck Beach viewpoint⛰️, White Beach🏖️, Blue Caves🕳️, a 2000-year-old olive tree🌳, and swam in the crystal-clear "jellyfish sea"🏊♀️. Day 2: Half-day turtle tour, €25 Booked randomly at a shop near the port. The tour lasted about three hours. Highlights: Sea turtles🐢, beaches🏖️, and caves🕳️. Honestly, the second tour was mainly for the turtles. We only saw one—it was huge—but the whole boat crowded around just that one. We even joked that it might be a "local actor turtle" raised by the tour operators. Overall, the trip was relaxing and fun. Plus, the food was great— A much-needed cure for the lack of sun and good meals in the UK. #ThatOnePhotoMagic #Travel #Greece #Zakynthos #BeachVibes
