🎈 Attractions: 1️⃣ Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site Retirement home of the only grandfather-grandson U.S. presidential duo. ❌ Not recommended – underwhelming. ℹ️ Book online in advance; street parking available. 2️⃣ Newfields (Indianapolis Art Museum) 🖼️ Excellent art museum! Loved the Van Gogh immersive exhibit "LUMIE" – highly recommend! 🍽️ Cafeteria on the first floor – food is mediocre. 3️⃣ Indiana State Museum 🏛️ Covers state history to modern times. Many student groups. A decent but standard state museum. 4️⃣ Eiteljorg Museum 🤠 Focuses on Art of the American West + contemporary works. 🚫 Special exhibit Andy Warhol’s West (no photos allowed). 🎨 Unique Western-themed collections! 🏨 Hotel: Hyatt Regency Indianapolis 💵 Rack rate ~$192; redeemed with 8,000 points! 🏙️ Shares a massive building with a convention center. Corner rooms offer panoramic downtown views! 🅿️ Parking: $23/day in underground garage. 🍽️ Food: 1️⃣ Tony’s of Indianapolis 🍷 Upscale fine dining in downtown – expensive but exceptional service. 👔 Note: Dress code enforced! 🥩 Recommended: Braised short rib, bourbon cake – delicious but pricey. 2️⃣ Harry & Izzy’s 🥩 Century-old steakhouse in downtown – classy interior! 🎯 Go for the three-course lunch – great value! 🍤 Must-try: Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail (explosive flavor + cracker chaser – fun starter!). 🍔 Main: Filet & Fried Shrimp Slider (3 mini burgers) – tasty! #USLife #USTravel #Indiana #Indianapolis #TravelDiary #MuseumHop #FoodReview #HistoricEats 🏛️🍔🎨
