Truly Feeling Like WUR is the "European Hengshui"

Finally survived two exams! đŸ˜”â€đŸ’« This past week has been absolute hell—waking up with dead eyes, rushing to Forum to cram, rewriting illegible stats cheat sheets, and sobbing over problem sets at 3 AM. 💀 I used to think I had decent stress tolerance (thanks to China’s gaokao and last-minute undergrad exam preps), but this final week drained my soul. My friends and I just kept muttering: “I’m actually losing it” / “This is insane”—by the end, we were delirious, numb, and physically aching from sitting too long. đŸ“šđŸ”„ The biggest difference from undergrad? Back home, if you studied hard, you’d score well (or at least pass). Here at WUR, some courses have 30% pass rates—you either master everything or risk failing. No half measures. When asked if the struggle was due to English or the material, my answer: BOTH. ïżœ Though my English improved (no more frantic translating mid-lecture!), exams still hit me with niche jargon even dictionaries don’t know. Worse? Some questions would stump me even in Chinese. But hey—I gave it my all. Now, it’s up to fate. 🌟 Time to stop obsessing and enjoy a Paris getaway! âœˆïžđŸ’– #Netherlands #StudyAbroad #WageningenUniversity #StudentLife #ExamStress #Erasmus #GradSchoolStruggles 😼‍💹📖
