Celebrated a birthday and anniversary on the same day at BATA — and it was a truly special experience! We opted for the Chef’s Counter Tasting Menu ($100+ per person), which featured a curated selection of seasonal dishes in smaller portions. 🌿 Their menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients from around Tucson, with creative and often plant-forward dishes (though some meat options are available). We even tasted a spicy XO sauce that gave a familiar kick! The chefs change the menu frequently based on what’s fresh and in season. ☕️ Also loved their non-alcoholic drink with hazelnut coffee syrup — so smooth and flavorful! 🧑🍳 Sitting at the chef’s counter allowed us to watch the kitchen magic and chat with the chefs — a fun and interactive dining experience. You can inform them of allergies or preferences in advance. 💡 Tip: Ordering à la carte might be cheaper for the same quantity, but the tasting menu is about the experience and discovery!
