📍 Turin | Abbey of Sant'Michele
⛪️ The Abbey of Sant'Michele, also known as Sacra di San Michele, is a medieval abbey nestled in the suburbs just 10 kilometers outside of Turin and is one of the most mysterious places in the entire Piedmont region. It is part of a group of sites around the world sharing the same name, located in countries such as Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Turkey, and Israel. These sacred mountains have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, representing a harmonious blend of religion, history, art, and nature. They were formed between the 15th and 17th centuries. Interestingly, these seven sacred mountains are geographically aligned in a straight line, said to be the path of the angel's holy light and the intersection of European white and black magic sites. 💰 Entrance to the abbey requires a ticket priced at 8 euros each. ⏰ A visit will take approximately 1 hour to complete, where you can explore the exquisite church and the early remains of the abbey. Not far from the abbey, down the mountain, there are two connected lakes where you can enjoy the view while having a meal (as shown in Figure 11). 🚗 It's about a 45-minute drive from Turin. If you're traveling by car, you can park your vehicle in the parking lot. Highly recommend visiting and taking photos on a clear day, as the weather on the mountain can be quite unpredictable. #TurinItaly #Turin #EuropeanLife #NaturalSceneryShare #TurinLife #Europe #TurinCheckIn #Church
