๐ŸŒ„ Turin Surroundings Hiking Diary ๐ŸŒ„

I visited a quaint little town called Brusson this time, about an hour's drive from Turin. It's located to the right above Aosta, close to Switzerland. Perhaps because it's a lesser-known spot and it's the off-season, we encountered more cows and horses than people throughout our tripโ€”it was heavenly, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The houses in the town are adorable, straight out of a fairytale. ๐Ÿก The lake is named Lago di Brusson, with crystal clear waters. Since we lingered by the lake for a long time, Fortunately, our destination wasn't too high upโ€”a cheese factory called La Tchavana, where we could buy fresh cheese and surprisingly delicious homemade gelato. The hike took about an hour, and the temperature difference at sunset was significant, so be sure to stay warm. ๐Ÿงฅ ๐Ÿจ Due to the off-season, the price of the B&B we stayed at was very reasonable, 50 euros a night including breakfast. The room had a double bed and a single bed, and the wooden cabin with a fireplace was very cozy and warm. โš ๏ธ The road conditions are quite steep, with many hairpin turns, so be sure to drive carefully if you're traveling by car. Winter is coming, remember to change to snow tires. #TurinOutskirts #Italy #ItalianHiking #Europe #ItalianLife #MountainLiving #Hiking #EscapeTheCity
