Turkey|A Random Local's Restaurant Pick on Our Road Trip 🚗💨
While driving from Antalya to Fethiye, we stopped at a charming seaside town called Finike. There, we randomly approached two local fishermen 🎣 who recommended this super popular spot - Neseli Balik. When we arrived, it was packed! Only one staff member spoke English, so she became our personal food translator for the evening. 😄 I absolutely LOVED everything we ordered, though my travel buddies found the flavors a bit unusual. 🤷♀️ The rich fish soup had this amazing herbal aroma I couldn't quite identify (but adored!), and the creamy pasta reminded me of this incredible cream udon I once had in Chengdu. (P.S. Japanese cream stew is my weakness too! 😘) For most Chinese travelers, the grilled fish 🐟 and standard salad would probably be the safest bets - that's all my friends could handle. This meal made me realize how well I adapt abroad - I haven't even craved hot pot during my long travels! 🌍 Bonus: Turkey's famous cats made an appearance! 🐈 One sweet one-eyed kitty even climbed onto my lap as we finished eating - total heart-melter! ❤️ Total damage: 1,625 TRY (worth every lira!) 📍 Neseli Balik Ataturk Caddesi 108 sokak No:49, 07740 | Finike, Finike, Turkey #HiddenGem #LocalEats #FoodieAdventure #TravelTurkey #RoadTripEats #SeasideDining #AuthenticTurkish #CulinaryExplorer #OffTheBeatenPath #TurkeyByCar #FoodieFinds #TravelDiaries
