Turkish Desserts
πSince coming to Germany for my studies, I've developed a fascination for Turkish desserts, rather than German ones. πI once tried making it at home, and the process was indeed intricate and troublesome. You spread thin layers of phyllo dough, brush them with butter, sprinkle them evenly with finely ground pistachios, and then cut them into squares or diamonds before baking. Once out of the oven, you pour a hot syrup or honey over them.π πThe taste, however, is heavenly! When you put a piece in your mouth, the syrup makes contact with the palate, followed by the delightful crunch of the pastry, the honey mixed with the flavors of baked butter and nuts spreading throughout the mouth and down to the stomach. and remember to pair it with a cup of Turkish tea. My favorite combinations are: π Traditional Baklava with double pistachios π Fistik Sarma, which is pure pistachio rolls π Sobiyet, a combination of pistachios and cheese filling My obsession with Baklava is such that whenever I arrive in a new city, I make it a mission to find the best Turkish dessert shop. #Turkey #TurkishFood #TurkishDesserts #Pistachio #SugarOilMixture #Dessert #SweetTooth #DessertDaily #DessertLover #EatingSweetMakesHappy ### name: πππ¬ππ¦ πππ€π₯ππ―π address:πΊππππππ π‘ππΓπ 12π΄, 10783 π©πππππ type:place ###
