Two-Star Michelin Experience at JY'S in Colmar⭐️

The ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant, located right next to a park in the city center of Colmar. We ordered a total of six dishes, plus an additional amuse-bouche, all paired with Pinot Gris wine. 🍷 The highlights were the **Hida Beef Tataki**, **Foie Gras with Tuna and Zucchini Flower Tempura**, and **Red Tuna with Sesame Oil**. These dishes were truly impressive, showcasing innovation on traditional French cuisine. The beef was perfectly cooked, and the combination with mushroom soup and orange sauce was very creative. The use of sesame oil, commonly found in Chinese cuisine, in the foie gras and tuna dish was a delightful surprise. The zucchini flower tempura, with its layers of tempura, zucchini, and apple, had a fantastic texture, paired with a refreshing lemon-ginger sauce. 🌟 In terms of value, the Hida Beef at €88 for five pieces is indeed on the pricey side, but the flavor is definitely worth the cost. 💰 The **King Crab** was a bit too salty, the **Grilled Globe Artichoke** with fish was not very tasty, and the **Roasted Pearl Chicken Breast** was just average. These three dishes were less impressive and might not be the best choices. 🤔 For dessert, the **Crunchy Lily Flower Pastry** was tangy and refreshing, perfect for cutting through the richness of the meal. The **Chocolate Tart** with cocoa pulp ice cream was also quite enjoyable. 🍬 The service was impeccable, and overall, it was a great experience. 👍 #FrenchCuisine #Colmar #TwoStarMichelin
