📍 Ultimate Cusco Guide: City + Surroundings!
Our 6-day Cusco trip was AMAZING—packed with food, drinks, and adventures! We stayed longer to acclimate to the altitude (3,400m), and it was totally worth it! 🏠 Accommodation ✅ Casa Matara Boutique Affordable, clean, free daily breakfast, and super cozy! Highly recommend! 🧸 Recommended Tours ✅ Free Walking Tour (Book on Guru Walk) "YANA WALKING TOUR - Historic Center of Cusco" "Free" = pay what you think is fair (tip-based). ✅ Half-Day Cusco + Sacsayhuamán Tour (GetYourGuide) "Cusco: Half-Day City Tour by Machupicchu Aventour" ✅ 2-Day Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu by Train (Viator) Includes Ollantaytambo & Aguas Calientes 😋 Food & Drinks Most places were delicious, though some were pricey. 🍽️ Restaurants 🍴 Rucula - Great vibes & food! 🍴 Chicharroneira la Estacion - Lamb soup (a bit salty, meat was okay). 🍴 San Pedro Market - Random busy stall = tender lamb stew (salty but good!). 🍴 Suyu - 13-course meal for 79 soles (cheap but average taste). 🍴 Three Crosses - Alpaca meat (yum but pricey). 🍴 Pueblo Viejo (Aguas Calientes) - Big portions, live music (tips expected). ☕ Cafés ☕ Cafftle Roasters - Korean-style café, cozy atmosphere. ☕ Catfetin Cat Café - Cat lovers, this is for you! 🐱 ☕ Peru Café (Aguas Calientes) - Empanadas were a surprise hit! 🍻 Bars & Pisco Spots 🍻 Garibaldi Cocktail Bar - MUST VISIT!
