Underrated Gem in NOLA! 💎🏰

I booked this hotel on a whim to celebrate the New Year in New Orleans. I’d seen so many mixed reviews, but I believe in seeing things for myself — and I’m so glad I did! Yes, the building is old — it was built in 1806. But that’s part of its charm! 🕰️✨ We stayed in Unit 7: a two-bedroom, one-bath suite, all on one floor with no stairs. The space was full of character, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect — right between Royal and Decatur Streets, with so much to see and do nearby 🎭🍹. It was quiet at night with no street noise, though we could hear footsteps from the unit above. But honestly — no big deal! The pool was lovely, and no, the vents weren’t dirty. Again — don’t overthink it! 😉 The unit wasn’t outdated, but do bring your own soap, body wash, and shampoo. Plenty of outlets for charging devices, and there’s a grocery store close by 🛒🔌. Maria and her staff were wonderful — we felt at home right away 🥰🤗. If we’re lucky enough to return to New Orleans for New Year’s, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A true hidden treasure! #HiddenGem #HistoricStay #FrenchQuarter #TravelRealTalk #WillReturn
