Every time I come to Miami, I make sure to visit Shorty's. It’s a super rustic spot with shared tables, floors a bit slippery from kitchen grease, and a classic American country vibe. 🪵 From my perspective, they serve the best cooked corn in the world – dripping with melted butter and bursting with flavor! 😋 The schnitzel, famously known as their "ribs," is also delicious. 🍖 About 98% of the food here is eaten with your hands, which is why there are rolls of paper towels on the tables to help you clean your face, beard, mustache, and hands. 😅 At the end of the meal, they bring you a pot of warm lavender-scented water to clean your fingers – a simple but thoughtful touch! 💜 Just remember: nothing fancy here – quite the opposite, actually. It’s all about the rustic, down-to-earth experience.
