Unilaterally Declaring This Tucson Attraction No. 1! šāØ
Spent four days in Tucson, and my favorite spot was this mission church located on the outskirts. Iāve visited many churches in Europeāsome in city centers, others perched on scenic mountainsābut this was my first time seeing one right in the middle of the desert. Totally magical.āŗļø The church opens for free visits at 9:00 AM. If you go in the morning, there are tours with guides explaining the history and details. Outside, itās surrounded by desert plants and cacti šµāsuper photogenic! The interior is beautifully decorated, and thereās a small museum where you can learn about its story. I even found a cute cactus fridge magnet in the gift shop (made from a real cactus! šµ). Not far from the church, thereās also a small hill you can climb for a full panoramic view. āŖļø Church: San Xavier del Bac š« Admission: Free #SharingTheView #TucsonTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #FujifilmXT4 #TravelDiaries šµšøāØ
