🌟 Unveiling the Most Mysterious Michelin
This Shabour, hidden in the alleys of the 2nd arrondissement, was the most delightful meal of all my recent birthday star-seizing adventures. The chef, Assaf Granit hails from Israel, and the restaurant garnered a Michelin star upon opening. Yet, it’s far from a stiff, formal dining experience! The vibe is relaxed, with an open kitchen and bar seating, and every bite bursts with “passion” and “soulfulness”. I adored the pace they set; each guest is served at their own rhythm, so even though everyone is seated at the counter, the sequence of dishes is unique to each person. 🫧 My absolute favorite was the ratatouille that surprised me—it’s always a challenge to find a decent ratatouille in Paris, but theirs absolutely stunned me; the pigeon in picture 7 was prepared specially for me as an additional main, which truly touched me! The pigeons were pan-seared five to six times, resulting in a wonderfully crispy exterior and a rare, juicy interior—a truly remarkable experience. 🎂 The birthday cake they brought, when enjoyed with the chocolate mousse and the fruit platter, made me realize I was completely stuffed. The entire meal spanned nearly three hours, and I left utterly satisfied! As a birthday restaurant in Paris, I wholeheartedly recommend it; I’d definitely return to try a different menu. #food #FrenchCuisine #EdibleArt #ParisMichelinStar #Paris #BirthdayRestaurant #DateNightRestaurant #CreativeCuisine #AtmosphericWesternFood
