Day 1๏ธโฃ ๐ East Lansing โ Sleeping Bear Dunes โ Mackinaw City ๐ Sleeping Bear Dunes: $25 per vehicle. A unique blend of sand dunes and lake views โ pretty cool, but not mind-blowing if youโve been to places like Dunhuang Mogao Caves or live in Florida like me ๐ Still a nice stop! ๐ฝ๏ธ The Chippewa Room: Cozy hunting-themed spot with great service. Recommended: Cajun Whitefish & Lasagna ๐๐ ๐จ Mackinaw Beach & Bay Inn & Suites: Spacious, clean, with amazing sunrise views! ๐ Day 2๏ธโฃ ๐ Mackinaw City โ Tahquamenon Falls โ Kitch-iti-Kipi โ Pictured Rocks โ Munising ๐ Tahquamenon Falls: Upper & Lower Falls. You can drive or hike (4hr trail โ skip unless you love hiking). Lower Falls rest area has great photo ops. Upper Falls has food trucks & live music โ try the Apple Cider Slush! ๐ ๐ Kitch-iti-Kipi: A small but stunning spring โ โThe Mirror of Heavenโ ๐ฟ๐ง ๐ Pictured Rocks: Absolutely gorgeous! Sadly missed the Sunset Cruise โ book early! ๐ข ๐ฝ๏ธ Tobyโs Dog House (Munising): Late-night fast food. Cheap, variety, long lines โ decent but not special. ๐ญ ๐จ Pictured Rocks Inn & Suites: Not recommended ๐ฌ Day 3๏ธโฃ ๐ Munising โ St Ignace โ Mackinac Island โ Skybridge โ East Lansing โค๏ธ Mackinac Island: Loved it so much I wrote a whole separate guide!
