Upper West Side Lincoln Center Hidden Gem French Cafe | Mostly Locals

🏡Cafe Luxembourg is the perfect spot for weekend brunch. The ambiance is super cozy, filled with local residents. The tables are close together, but it’s perfect for huddling in a warm restaurant on a cold winter’s day to enjoy delicious food. No reservation needed; you can usually get a table right away without waiting. 🏡This place, not far from Beacon and Lincoln Center, is where you might even encounter a celebrity. Besides locals, some drop in before or after a show. 🏡I tried the brunch special cinnamon sugar doughnut, and the best part was actually the raspberry dipping sauce – so fresh and tangy, not too sweet. 🏡The avocado toast ingredients were super fresh, but the toast does lose its crispness if you wait too long to eat it. Their signature burger is self-assembled; the medium meat is rarer than in many places, making it very tender. The fries are crispy and seem to be on every table. 🏡The service was great; they promptly change your cutlery if you haven’t finished a dish, and someone is always refilling water.
