UT Utah’s Best RAMEN – MENSHO 🍜✨
A new Japanese ramen spot just opened downtown! The interior is beautifully designed with a strong Japanese vibe—even the restroom features a sliding door. 🎌 The space is a bit cozy, with tables placed close together. According to the staff, all ingredients are flown in directly from Japan—from the noodles down to the seasonings. And honestly, it’s delicious! Can’t say it completely outshines every other ramen shop, but it’s definitely impressive. The noodles are chewy, the broth is rich—we tried the first two ramen on the menu: Signature Toripaitan $29 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The only ramen that comes with a soft-boiled egg. The broth has a strong mushroom flavor. Includes A5 Wagyu that melts in your mouth—the chashu and duck meat are decent but not standout. The Wagyu is so good—if you can, add extra toppings! G.K.O $26 🌶️🌟🌟🌟🌟 A spicy ramen with the same rich broth. Personally preferred this broth—the meat flavor stands out more, and the spiciness balances the richness perfectly. Added a soft-boiled egg for $4 (a bit pricey, but worth it 😭). Three types of Wagyu sushi available: 1. Ikura $17 with salmon roe 🌟🌟🌟🌟 2. Negi $16 with green onions 🌟🌟🌟 3. Caviar $22 with caviar and gold leaf 🌟🌟🌟🌟 For the best taste and photo-worthy look, go for the third option! 📸💫 They also have appetizers like fried chicken, which is supposed to be great, but we were too full to try. Ramen lovers, hurry over! The service is excellent too. Opens daily at 4 PM, closed on Tuesdays—don’t show up on the wrong day! Parking tip: Use the open lot nearby. Avoid the garage—it costs $10 (learned that the hard way 🥲).
