Utah|Lake Mary Trail Near Salt Lake City 🏔️🌲
Last weekend, I went with friends to the Lake Mary Trail near Salt Lake City. The mountains are dotted with lakes big and small—this time we visited Lake Mary and the smaller Dog Lake. 🏞️❤️ Even in mid-June, it was still quite cold up there! Snow on the trails, ice on the lake, and the pine trees created a stunning winter-meets-spring scene. Highly recommend a visit if you get the chance! ❄️🌿 🕒 AllTrails says the round trip takes 1.5 hours, but with muddy and icy conditions, it took us over 2 hours. ⏳🧊 👟 If possible, wear snowshoes or trail shoes for better grip—it’s easy to slip otherwise! 🥾⚠️ 🚗 Use Google Maps to navigate to “Lake Mary Trail”—avoid Apple Maps! It directed me to the trail end by mistake 😅. Overall, the trail is a bit steep but moderately challenging. The limited-edition frozen lake views are absolutely breathtaking—that first glimpse makes every step worth it! 🥹💙 #Utah #SaltLakeCity #SLC #OutdoorHiking #ScenicJourney #HikingAdventure #TrailLife #WinterInJune #MountainLakes #ExploreUtah #NatureBeauty #TravelDiaries
