VA Beach 4-Day Getaway: Fun, Food & Sun! 🌊☀️
Day 1: Drove 3 hours to VA Beach and checked in at Hampton Inn by Hilton 🏨. Their complimentary breakfast is perfect for families with kids—eggs, sausage, potatoes, milk, coffee, fruit, bread, waffles, yogurt… pretty much everything you need! 🍳🧇🍓 It’s not as fancy as Hilton hotels in China, but it’s simple, healthy, and satisfying. After settling in, the kids rushed straight to the ocean 🌊—surfing, playing in the sand 😆. We even caught a passing thunderstorm followed by a stunning double rainbow! 🌈✨ As they say, after the rain comes the rainbow—what a lucky sign! Dinner at Murphy’s Irish Pub 🍴: The food was okay (3/5 ⭐), happy hour oysters were $0.75 each from 3-7 PM, but service was slow. Not sure I’d recommend it. Day 2: Booked a parasailing adventure with Adventure Parasail 🪂—originally 800ft, but we got upgraded to 1000ft for free! Total came to around $100 per person including tax and service fees. So much fun soaring over the ocean! Lunch at The Atlantic 🦞: A super popular seafood spot—about $35 per person. Delicious and fresh! In the evening, we rented bikes and rode along the boardwalk 🚲🌅, enjoying the sea breeze. Pure bliss! Day 3: Dolphin tour with Rudee Tours 🐬👏! $27 for adults, $22 for kids. Within minutes of setting sail, we spotted large groups of dolphins swimming alongside our boat! Absolutely magical ✨. The company offers lots of water activities—I really wanted to try the banana boat ($40/person for 1 hour), but… next time 😉. Dinner at Judy’s Sichuan Cuisine 🌶️: One of the most famous Chinese restaurants in VA Beach. Our group of 11 ordered a feast—the Spicy Tofu Fish and Sichuan Boiled Beef were everyone’s favorites! Day 4: One last morning of surfing 🏄♂️🌊—so fun even when the waves knocked us down 😂! Packed up and headed home. Can’t wait to come back, VA Beach! #DMV #Travel #BeachLife #Surfing #Parasailing #DolphinWatching #Sunrise #Foodie #Seafood
