While en route to the famous Joffre Lakes, we stumbled upon this diamond in the rough - Seton Lake!! 🌟 A quaint little lake that packs a big punch of natural beauty 💜 At first glance from the lookout point, we thought "okay, pretty view" - but little did we know... there's a secret path leading down to the lakeshore itself!! The contrast between the aerial view and lake-level perspective is stunning: ​​From above​​: Panoramic mountain vistas with the lake as a perfect mirror 💙 ​​From below​​: Intimate shoreline moments with the water lapping at your feet 🌊 🍖 ​​Shoreline Perks​​ The lakeside has: ✅ Picnic tables under shady trees ✅ Friendly locals grilling up delicious meals (the smell was heavenly) ✅ Playful pups splashing in the shallows 🐶 Speaking of dogs... we witnessed an epic rescue mission when a little puppy got tangled in some underwater debris 😱 Thankfully, its quick-thinking owner jumped in to save the day - true dog parent energy!! 🐾💦 🚗 ​​Parking Pro Tip​​ You can drive right up to the lakeshore (we learned this the hard way after hiking down!) - perfect for: Wheelchair accessibility Easy picnic setups Quick dip opportunities 🌄 ​​The "Missed" Lookout​​ Just a short drive away, we spotted another viewpoint - but trees blocked our view at ground level 😔 After some post-trip Googling, we discovered the real vista is across the road, up a short hill.
