Vancouver | One-Day Tour of Granville & Gastown πππ§
It's been drizzling lightly these past few days since I arrived π§οΈ, but Vancouver has a unique charm even on rainy days. Here's a little diary entry about my one-day adventure π. In the midday, I leisurely headed out and hailed a cab straight to the Public Market on Granville Island π. Inside, there were endless stalls filled with colorful fruits and vegetables π₯¦π₯, as well as various sweet treats π. I even spotted some familiar canelΓ©s! π² I highly recommend the puff pastry soup here! Check out p13 and p14. One bite of that warm, comforting soup was pure winter bliss π€©. πΈ Afterward, I wandered around the park. There were so many different little shops πͺ. The weather wasn't great, so the photos turned out a bit hazy. See p4, p5, p6, p10, and p12. β«οΈπΌ In the evening, I took a cab from Granville to Gastown. This place feels incredibly photogenic, with a bit of a British vibe. Every random shot I took looked great. The Steam Clock chimes every 15 minutes. I didn't expect its sound to be so rugged π. βοΈ By nighttime, I was too lazy to go out again, so I had dinner at Hydra, a restaurant downstairs from my hotel with a pretty high Google rating. The lamb chops were excellent, juicy and flavorful, but the beef skewers were just average. Not recommended; they were even cold when they first arrived . #Vancouver #VancouverTourism #VancouverFood #EndofWinterTime ππ΄β°
