Vancouver Christmas Town Real Experience 🎄
🎄 Martini Town Merry & Bright This place has been meticulously restored to its century-old streetscape, giving the feeling of being transported back in time to the Upper East Side of New York. This town has been the filming location for several movies and TV shows, including “Schmigadoon!”, “Kung Fu”, and “The Wedding Chapel”. The entire town is decorated like a holiday wonderland, exuding a strong Christmas atmosphere with beautifully decorated Christmas trees at every turn! Walking down the streets adorned with lights, hearing live Christmas carols, one can’t help but feel their spirits lift. Every photo taken is like a masterpiece, capturing the full essence of the season! The snow machines are only intermittent, with short durations, so if you want to capture the falling snow, make sure to stick around! Santa photos are available until 8:30 pm, so plan your time accordingly. There are food trucks in the area, offering hot drinks and doughnuts, with hot cocoa in almost everyone’s hands. The parking lot is spacious, and the super enthusiastic staff will guide you, even dancing to the music in the park – so cute~ The whole experience is surreal, and even after returning home, the lights of the town and the cheerful carols seem to linger. It’s like a dream, as if you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole like Alice. It’s a true Christmas experience! ✨🎄 📅 12.4 – 1.5 (closed on the 25th) 3-10 pm 🎫 Adults $22, Seniors$18, Children $12, Free for ages 6 and under 🎄 Chilliwack 1881 District Unlike Martini Town, 1881 is a real living community filled with tranquility and a sense of history. There’s no festive music or interactive NPCs here; it’s a genuine town, quietly and joyfully welcoming each Christmas. Find a favorite shop, order a hot chocolate, and create beautiful memories while soaking up the holiday spirit. I heard there’s a Christmas train and Ferris wheel every Tuesday to Sunday, but I didn’t see either on my Thursday visit!! However, I did meet a Santa who greeted everyone with enthusiastic hugs. Online guides suggest visiting 1881 District first and then heading to Martini to experience two different holiday atmospheres. But to be honest, if you follow this itinerary, I don’t think it’s necessary to come to 1881 specifically – it’s too far! And compared to Martini, it’s a bit less impressive. If you’re passing by or just want a free place to feel the holiday vibe and take photos, it’s still worth a visit. In my opinion, 1881 is a place that can bring both joy and peace to one’s heart. 📆 11.14 – 12.25 🎫 Free #Christmas #Vancouver
