Vancouver Family Weekend Pick: Taves Farm Apple-Park
Vancouver Family Weekend Pick: Taves Farm Apple-Park, Abbotsford Just a 45-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, Taves Farm feels like a mini harvest-themed amusement park. 🍸 Taves Cidery Start at the tasting bar and grab two flights: • Flight A (drier) – the gooseberry cider is a crisp standout. • Flight B (sweeter) – the black-currant cider is dangerously drinkable. While you sip, dozens of sheep graze nearby—kids love feeding them. Small petting-barn access and extra activities (right of the cidery) are pay-per-use. 🍎 U-Pick Tips The farm is huge: apples, pears, plums, goji berries, plus a sea of pumpkins 🎃. • No entry pass needed – just grab a bucket or bring your own bag. • Pay by weight at the checkout after picking. • Ripening schedule is posted at checkout; in early September we went straight for Fuji. • Pesticide-free = expect some bug-bitten apples—inspect carefully! 📍 Address Taves Farm 333 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2S 8A7 #VancouverWeekend#FamilyFun
