Vancouver Island |📍 Victoria City Walk 🎬💙

If you’re tired of Vancouver’s busy city vibe, hop on a ferry and spend a weekend strolling through Victoria’s downtown! The architecture, atmosphere, flowers 🌹, parks ⛲️, horse carriages 🐴… everything feels more relaxed here than in Vancouver. If you only have 1 day, I don’t recommend squeezing Butchart Gardens into your itinerary — it’ll feel rushed. Instead, check out Beacon Hill Park near the Parliament Building — it’s totally worth it and much closer to downtown. Perfect for a chill, happy day out 😊 Recommended Route 🚶: Chinatown ➡️ Market Square ➡️ Government Street 🍫🍰☕️📚 ➡️ Parliament Building Government Street in downtown Victoria is packed with hidden gems — cute eateries, fun shops, and mostly vintage-style architecture. You’ll find historic spots like Munro’s Books (one of the most beautiful bookstores in the West 📕), Murchie’s famous for tea and pastries, and more. The whole street leads to the iconic Parliament Building 🏛️, and it’s lined with independent boutiques — no big malls in sight! 📚 Munro’s Books has a huge collection, including classic editions in a beautifully designed, peaceful space — you could easily spend an afternoon here. 🧸 Near Chinatown, inside Market Square, don’t miss Oscar & Libby’s — a dream for Jellycat lovers! #StudentLife #DayTrip #TravelDiary #SoDelicious #Canada #CityWalk #VictoriaBC #SummerVibes #Photography
