Vancouver | It turns out Canadian cuisine is so delicious
It's a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but not many people know about it. We had the dinner at 6:30 pm and had the whole place to ourselves haha, the staff was very patient. Recommended dishes: Smoked oyster: (Must-try) This is a plum-flavored shaved ice with caviar on top of the oyster, very creative, and it's my first time trying it! Sour and sweet, very appetizing. Covered with a glass dome, it looks beautiful when the smoke swirls when opened. A qualified appetizer! Recommendation index: βββββ Foie Gras Tart: This is their signature dish, with sweet and sour flavors and the salty freshness of foie gras, rich in texture. The vanilla tart has fruit particles in the middle, foie gras at the bottom, and a layer of mousse on top. Not too sweet. But I'm not a fan of mousse. Recommendation index: βββ ROASTED SCALLOPS: This grilled scallop is too delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, very fragrant, recommended! Recommendation index: βββββ CHEEKY BERKSHIRE: This is the best pork neck I've ever eaten. Not greasy at all, the meat is very bouncy and chewy. The side dish is π and some nuts. Recommendation index: βββββ CARAMEL MISO SABLEFISH: (Must-try) I completely πΏ this dish, not a single grain of rice left. Because it's really too delicious! The codfish is very tenderly fried, melts in the mouth, with side dishes of mushrooms, rapeseed, and fregola sarda, a type of pasta from Sardinia, Italy. This pasta is very chewy, and I especially like to chew it, forming a sharp contrast with the tenderness of the codfish, and the flavors are very well integrated. Absolutely delicious! Recommendation index: βββββ DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE: At first, I thought it was yogurt, and I ate a lot. With black chocolate powder and apple pieces, it's still good. The small square at the bottom is a dessert made of coconut, which I don't like haha. Recommendation index: βββ In my opinion, as long as this restaurant continues, it will definitely reach the β level in the future. The main dishes are better than the appetizers, and they are very design-oriented and creative, not the usual Italian or French approach. π: Archer π: 1152 Alberni St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1A5 #VancouverLife #Vancouver #Canada #VancouverExploration #VancouverFood #VancouverStudyAbroad #VancouverSurrounding #CanadianStudents
