πͺ: The perfect way to start a long weekend is, of course, with a beautiful meal. Haha, the restaurant is located near Kitsilano beach, and its door is adorned with numerous awards. The interior is simple yet grand. After perusing the menu for a while, I wanted to try everything. Luckily, the waiter mentioned they had a tasting menu available. π₯ Three Appetizers π₯: Khanom Buang: Crispy egg crepes filled with pickled coconut threads. Albacore Ma Hor: Green apple paired with tuna, very appetizing. Miang Stuffed Mussel: Mussels filled with a mixture of scallions, garlic, and ginger. π² Hot & Sour Halibut & Clam Soup π²: When the two small bowls of soup were served, the sour aroma filled the air, but they were packed with ingredients like halibut, clams, and seafood mushrooms. π₯ Grilled Wagyu Beef Salad π₯: Wagyu beef paired with basil leaves is truly a match made in heaven. The salad also includes many other ingredients like radishes, giving it a distinct texture. It's my favorite. π Roasted Quail & Prawn Cake Green Curry π: The curry is rich with coconut flavor, tasting much like a tender pigeon. Served with a large bowl of rice, you won't worry about leaving hungry. π§ Mystery Dessert π§: The dessert changes daily. A hawthorn-flavored ice cream served with mango sticky rice. It's visually appealing and delicious. π§ Thai Iced Tea π§: Milk tea is a must. It's not too sweet, made with coconut palm sugar.
