Vancouver's Super, Super, Super Delicious Foie Gras Rice π
I was highly recommended by a friend to try this foie gras rice, and after looking forward to it for a long time in Toronto, it certainly lived up to the hype! π₯£ Foie Gras Rice Bowl: The sauce is slightly sweet in a Japanese style, but not at all greasy! Two large pieces of foie gras are served over chunks of radish and chestnut, a novel combination that surprisingly goes well with the rice and the foie gras. The first bite was so fragrant it was almost overwhelming! π€ Mushroom Tempura: It's a very common dish - fried short, seafood mushrooms with a sauce that's nothing special. The overall taste was a bit bland, and I wouldn't order it again if I go back, haha. π± Overall, it exceeded expectations! If you're coming for the foie gras rice, just order that, as the other dishes seem rather average. They also served a pre-meal drink that was quite perplexing, made with cucumber, mint, and basil, it was a bit sour, sweet, and tasted like toothpaste. The first sip was quite a shock π₯². If you just have the foie gras rice, it's really good value for money! #Vancouver #VancouverEats #VancouverLife #VancouverFoodExploration #DowntownVancouver #Canada #CanadianCuisine ### Name: PiDGiN Address: Vancouver, BC Canada Type: Restaurant ###
