The all-inclusive hotel food was a total letdown 😤—my friend and I took a taxi to Varadero downtown for lobsters today! A lobster dish listed at 1,900 local pesos 💵 converts to just over $6 💰. Seasoning wasn’t mind-blowing, but way better than hotel grub 👏! Meat was super firm, devouring huge chunks was pure satisfaction 🤤. We also ordered mojitos and sangria 🍹 —so good we wanted refills! Total bill: $25 💸. Local currency is cheaper, but we didn’t exchange cash 🤷♀️. The restaurant’s near the sea 🌊—clearer and more "jelly-like" than the hotel beach (Photo 7) ✨! Also grabbed roadside ice cream (Photo 8) 🍦—creamy enough to lick the spoon.
