📍Vegas｜Finally Found a Place I Truly Love 🌵

A true desert oasis, the birthplace of Vegas, abundant plants, diverse spaces… I had no idea the desert ecosystem could be so rich and fascinating. It feels truly magical 🌿💫. I discovered Springs Preserve while browsing the map. Since I find the Vegas Strip a bit too flashy and boring 🎰💸, I’ve been looking for quieter places to wander and enjoy fika 🍰☕. Studying maps is like second nature to me—thanks to my professional background, reading maps feels like scrolling through street view, but with a god’s-eye perspective 🗺️👀. (When I show people locations on a map, I often realize… not everyone can actually read maps well 😅) This place felt so special that I bought an annual membership before even visiting 🎟️❤️. Turns out, I really have a talent for spotting hidden gems—I’m kinda gifted at finding cool places, haha! With Halloween around the corner 👻🎃, the park is filled with incredibly creative decorations—so many that I’ll have to share them in a separate post! I love it here so much!
