Vegas 888 Sushi – So Good It Made Me Want to Cry 😭🍣
This Vegas trip had plenty of great eats, but this spot was the standout. The wait was intense—on Friday, we landed at 6 PM and joined the Yelp waitlist immediately. By the time we picked up luggage and our rental car (about 2 hours), our table was almost ready. We nearly missed our slot, but it seemed like others who missed theirs talked to the host and still got seated? So my advice: join the virtual queue as soon as it opens! We went with the middle tier (Premium). The menu is huge and overwhelming—no way to try everything. I thought I could sample all the sushi… but that was wishful thinking 😅 Some dishes are marked “signature” and limited to one order. The mango salsa salmon was just okay for me, but everything else was fantastic! show takoyaki and fried soft-shell crab—both solid. Many of their marinated sashimi options have a hint of chili, and the flavor is on point. 🍢 Yakitori skewers—we tried all the beef ones. Melt-in-your-mouth tender with a nice charcoal aroma (maybe sous-vide before grilling?). Didn’t get many photos because they disappeared instantly! 🍣 Sushi—the fish portions are massive, rice is minimal. The fish-to-rice ratio felt like 3:1 compared to typical sushi spots. 🍶 Only complaint: the drinks—not as pictured. I ordered what looked like the second from the right, but what arrived was unrecognizable 😂 Taste was still good though. #VegasFood #VegasRestaurants #VegasBuffet #SushiHeaven #AYCEVibes 🎰✨
