Vegas Food Review — My Top Korean Spot ⭐ Moobongri Soondae

⚠️ I’ve tried exactly five Korean restaurants in Vegas so far — and this one ranks highest on my personal list! My history with this place is… complicated. I first tried it when they opened and was instantly won over by their seafood pancake 🥘 — crispy, loaded with seafood, full of chive and scallion aroma, and served with a slightly tangy dipping sauce I loved. But on my second visit, the pancake wasn’t as fragrant. On the third visit, the batter was undercooked — sticky and doughy 😬 The staff apologized and took it back to re-fry, but my confidence dropped. After that, I didn’t return for about three years. Recently, seeing lots of online food pics made me hungry again — plus the place next door (Tang) has gone downhill — so I thought, let’s give it one more chance! (Also side note — prices have definitely gone up 📈) They have a QR code menu with pictures, which helps when you’re not sure what something is! 🐷 2. Soondae Soup with Soondae & Pork Meat Sampler Even though I came for the pancake, this blood sausage set is now my #1 pick! Two types of soondae — one with glass noodles, one with minced offal — some served in a hot clear soup, some blanched and eaten with dipping sauce. Each has its own charm! The bubbling hot soup is so comforting 🍲, and the rice here is the most fragrant I’ve had in Vegas (unlike some places that serve reheated leftover rice 😒). All the offal dishes are delicious too. 🫓 30. Seafood Pancake This time, I specifically asked for it extra crispy — please be good, or my family might not come back! It came out decently crispy, but maybe not extra. Not sure if they honored the request 🤔 Though prices are up, they’ve replaced the chives with green peppers (my lifelong enemy 😤), which aren’t as fragrant and sneak in disguised as scallions! Less seafood than before, but still tasty. It may not live up to its past glory, but it’s still pretty good. 🍜 32. Buckwheat Noodle with Brisket & Boiled Egg in Cold Broth First time trying their cold noodles! The beef was a bit tough, but the broth was refreshing — not overly sweet. They provide spicy-sweet sauce to add yourself. The noodles were super chewy and satisfying! 🥢 Halfway through our meal, a group of Korean uncles from Hmart came in for lunch — they finished and went back to work while I was still slowly savoring every bite of soup and rice 😅 There’s also a branch in Hmart’s food court, but the menu is limited compared to here. ✨ Okay — I’ll be back again soon. Next time, please bring me a seafood pancake that lives up to the old days! 🙏 #KoreanFood #FoodDiary #VegasEats #LasVegas #VegasGuide #VegasRestaurants
