On our last night in Vegas, we craved Japanese with a twist — and found Kusa Nori inside Resorts World Las Vegas. It’s a chic, modern izakaya-style spot offering teppanyaki, skewers, sushi, seafood, and more! As a hot pot fanatic 🍲❤️, I literally can’t resist any kind of hot pot — so when I spotted Wagyu Shabu Shabu on the menu, I knew I had to try it! The Wagyu slices were paper-thin and cooked in just seconds in the bubbling broth — so tender and flavorful. It came with three dipping sauces that complemented the beef perfectly. We also ordered: 🦪 Half-dozen Oysters — topped with caviar and gold leaf! Looked luxurious and tasted sweet and fresh. 🍠 Purple Sweet Potato Appetizer — each slice drizzled with black honey. Sweet, elegant, and delicious. 🍖 Pork Tomahawk — surprisingly tender and fine-textured, almost like high-quality ham. 🥓 Pork Belly Skewers — fatty but not greasy, melting in the mouth. 🍣 Sushi — solid and fresh, though not the star here. 🍗 Fried Chicken — skip it. Just okay and not great value. Yes, it’s on the pricier side 💸, but the ingredients are top-notch.
