Vegas Resy Restaurant: 8 East
I came across this Chinese fusion spot called 8 East on Resy while in Vegas—it’s pretty hyped on! 🍽️ Located inside a casino in the old downtown area, they check IDs strictly at the door, so don’t forget to bring yours if you have a reservation! The restaurant isn’t big but is quite popular—if you don’t book ahead, you’ll likely have to wait. I ordered almost everything I wanted to try: Beef Fried Rice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A family favorite! Tender braised beef cut into big chunks and fried with rice—highly recommend! Dan Dan Noodles ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not exactly traditional, but still really flavorful—I kept going back for more! Dry-Fried String Beans ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loaded with minced meat, slightly sweet and spicy—the beans were fully infused with flavor 👍🏻 Butter-Roasted Mushrooms ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks simple but smelled amazing thanks to the butter roast! Raw Marinated Beef Slices ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well-seasoned and great quality beef. Duck Rolls ⭐⭐⭐ Just okay—not bad, but nothing special. Mapo Tofu ⭐⭐⭐ Decent, but not quite the Chengdu-style Mapo Tofu. My parents couldn’t stop eating it though! Badong Hand-Pulled Noodles ⭐⭐ You can skip this—it’s like a hand-pulled noodle version of Lanzhou beef noodles, but not outstanding. Pan-Fried Dumplings ⭐⭐ Somehow not my favorite, even though the wrappers are handmade and the filling is generous. Maybe the seasoning was just off? Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super friendly and attentive—big plus! Overall, I enjoyed the meal! 🥢 Three of us spent around $160—a solid choice if you’re looking for a nice meal that’s also expensable. 💼 #Food #VegasFood #ChineseFusion #8East #LasVegasEats
