Venice's 4.8 Google-rated Restaurant Il Refettorio ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

The restaurant has a great ambiance and excellent service! ๐Ÿ‘ We were given a complimentary appetizer of zucchine meatballs, which had a decent flavor. There were three types of bread, and I'm not used to the taste of olives, but the other two were quite delicious and fragrant. Appetizers: Flammed scallop ๐Ÿš The scallops were quite sweet and fresh, with a sauce that had a rich, creamy, eggy flavor and a foamy texture. Poached egg with scrubbed bread and truffle ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿž This dish was also delicious, with a sauce similar to the scallops. The poached egg balanced the richness of the sauce, and the truffle added a touch of fragrance. Both appetizers had a repeated sauce, so you could choose to order just one. Crab with caviar ๐Ÿฆ€ It was very salty and not recommended. Main course: Cold spaghetti with sea urchin and caviar ๐Ÿ I didn't see any sea urchin, maybe it was in the sauce. It was extremely salty, possibly due to the caviar. Desserts: Tiramisu ๐Ÿฐ A very creative take on the traditional tiramisu. The presentation was delightful! Chocolate mousse with chili and cranberry ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ: Never seen chocolate mousse with chili before. Out of curiosity, we ordered it. There was no taste of chili or even bell pepper. The waiter mentioned that chili was inside the chocolate. The chocolate skin of the mousse was red, perhaps mixed with red pepper juice. It wasn't a strange flavor at all; it was delicious. Overall, it was a good experience, just avoid the caviar. Compared to the price of French cuisine we had the past few days, this place is very reasonably priced. #Venice #Food
