Venice | Museo Correr 🎨🏰
📍Correr Museum Arrived the night before, the next morning we found a riverside restaurant to sit down, have coffee, and breakfast. After that, we headed to Museo Correr and bought a museum pass that includes tickets to multiple museums. Although it costs 40€, it's worth it if you plan to visit several museums. Plus, there's a discount for students under 26, which is only 22€! We randomly chose a riverside restaurant, and breakfast options by the tourist river are pretty similar. Just pick a spot with a view you like and settle in! 🏛️Highly recommend this museum located in St. Mark's Square. The interior is opulent and grand, with each room decorated with exquisite murals and lighting fixtures, and a rich collection that includes sculptures, globes, maps, and oil paintings. 🏛️Among the highlights are the library and the oil painting exhibition upstairs. The wooden bookshelves on the walls hold a vast collection of books, with an ancient globe in the center and a Venetian glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling, leaving a lasting impression. 🏛️The oil painting exhibition upstairs showcases works from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, with a plethora of religious themes. The expressions on the faces of the characters in the paintings are very vivid, and you can't help but imagine dialogues for them, haha! 🏛️If you have time in Venice, this museum is a must-visit. It's not crowded, conveniently located, and when you're tired from exploring, there's a café inside where you can grab a coffee and take a break! #venice #VeniceCarnival #Venice #Museum #museocorrer #italy #SweetNicole_Venice
