Koyo (Maple Leaf) — originally went for their tatami seating (don’t worry, you can stretch your legs under the table!).😁😊 The shop seems to preserve its original decor from when it opened in 1976 — a bit worn, AC isn’t the strongest, but so full of charm that you won’t mind. The male staff seemed a bit new, and service could be slow, but everything we ordered was delicious both times, and prices were very reasonable! Highlights: Mars roll, salmon tofu balls, okonomiyaki, and udon (their udon has won awards!).❤️👍 They’re only open 4 hours a day, so plan ahead.😘 If you’re okay with the vibe and pace described, Koyo won’t disappoint! #Utah #SaltLakeCity #SLC #FoodReview #JapaneseCuisine #SLCFood 🏮
