Took the BC Ferry from Vancouver to Victoria — July weather was great, but the island breeze can be strong! Recommend bringing a light jacket 😂 🛳️ BC Ferry We booked a 10:00 AM ticket, but got stuck in Richmond’s morning rush hour… Arrived at 9:00 AM and were told we’d have to wait for the 11:00 AM sailing 😅 But driving onto the ferry was a fun first-time experience! 🍳 John’s Place 🥞 A retro American-style diner. I was excited for brunch, but… let’s just say white people food might not be my thing 😬 Maybe we just didn’t order well? 🥲 ⛩️ Chinatown Canada’s oldest Chinatown! Visited Fan Tan Alley — the narrowest street. Not too crowded, and felt much safer than Vancouver’s Chinatown lol. 🏛️ BC Parliament Buildings Looks like a castle from the outside! 🕍 Free guided tours available Mon–Fri. We went inside — the interior is classic European style with lots of history. Highly recommend! 🌊 Sidney Island We finished lunch around 1:00 PM and couldn’t make it to Butchart Gardens before closing 😢 Instead, we stopped by Sidney Island near the ferry terminal. The views were still beautiful! Perfect for a relaxed seaside stroll and photos 📸 If you have time, a 2-day trip is ideal for unwinding and soaking in the vibes. Perfect for relaxation and healing! 💙 #VictoriaIsland #CanadaTravel #TravelCanada #Vancouver #DayTrip #BCFerry #HealingJourney 🌊🍁📸
