Vietnam's Ancient Temple that Prevented a War 🛕
Origin of Tháp Chàm City Tháp Chàm is a lesser-known coastal city in Vietnam, located in Phan Rang. The city gets its name from an ancient Buddhist tower, whose history dates back to the Champa Kingdom over a thousand years ago. In Vietnamese, "Tháp Chàm" means the "Tower of Champa," which is where the city’s name originates. Buddhist Tower Architecture Climbing up from the foot of the mountain to the Po Klong Garai Tower requires ascending over a hundred stone steps. The main tower complex consists of three towers: the 5.56-meter-high King Tower, the 9.31-meter-high East Gate Tower, and the 20.5-meter-high Fire God Tower. The architectural style reflects the traditional mandapa design of the Champa Kingdom. The central part of the main tower features wooden structures with carvings of Shiva and Champa warriors riding elephants. 🏯✨ 🎫 Ticket Price: 15 RMB 🚉 How to Get There: Take a train from Nha Trang to Phan Rang Station, then walk for about 15 minutes to reach the site. #Travel #VietnamTravel #ThapChamCity
