Vietnamese Soup Noodles Better Than Michelin

I previously posted about a Michelin-recommended Vietnamese restaurant that was a bit of a letdown. Today, I’m sharing a Vietnamese place in Chinatown that’s way better! Although there’s always a queue during meal times, their soup noodles are truly delicious. The menu features many Vietnamese snacks I’ve never seen before, and judging by the Vietnamese patrons at the next table, this place is definitely authentic. Honest Review of the Dishes I’ve Tried: 1️⃣ Fresh Beef Brisket Vietnamese Pho 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The broth here is simple yet perfect—sweet but not overly so, and much lighter and better balanced than the Michelin-recommended one. The beef is fresher and has a better texture. Highly recommended!👍 2️⃣ Lemongrass Chicken Wings 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A lesser-known Vietnamese dish, but the charred aroma from the grill and the lemongrass fragrance blend perfectly. It’s as impressive as Nando’s peri-peri chicken wings! 3️⃣ Green Mango with Duck Breast Stir-Fry 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The seasoning is above average. The mango adds a refreshing twist, but the portion is a bit small. 4️⃣ Shrimp Paste Stir-Fried Water Spinach 🌟🌟🌟 The vegetables are a bit tough, and there’s not enough shrimp paste. But Vietnamese vegetarian options are limited, so it’s optional. 5️⃣ Grilled Lemongrass Trio Pork Noodles 🌟🌟 I ordered this after seeing the Vietnamese table next to me. The flavor is a bit too light and feels average. Maybe that’s just how this dish is. Those with a preference for strong flavors should be cautious. 6️⃣ Halo Tamarind Drink 🌟🌟🌟 The taste is hard to rate. It’s similar to plum juice but a bit too sour. Good for those who want to try something new. 7️⃣ Vietnamese Iced Coffee 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A flavor between Hong Kong-style milk tea and coffee. It’s delicious but quite sweet. #LondonFood #HappyPhoEating #StudentMeals
