Viewing the Perfect Sunset in Verona | Including Cable Car Tips
❣️Sunset viewing spot: Castel San Pietro (Verona, Italy) 👍This viewing platform is on a small hill, accessible by cable car or on foot. - 🧐If you want to watch the sunset, according to the sunset time of the day (which is generally displayed in the weather app), take the cable car up the mountain an hour in advance, take photos and enjoy the scenery on the platform, and then go down the mountain before sunset, which is very relaxing. -😍 There's also a small cafe on the viewing platform where you can drink beverages. If you want to watch the sunset with a drink, that's also great; you can go up the mountain a bit earlier than mentioned above. 🏎️Cable Car: - One-way ticket is 2 euros/person, round trip is 3 euros/person. - It's more recommended to take the cable car up and walk down (very easy). - The hill is quite low, and the cable car ride only takes a few minutes, very fast. ❣️Paths up and down the mountain: - From the Ponte Pietra old bridge, after crossing from south to north, the small path straight ahead is the staircase for walking up the mountain. - After crossing the old bridge, turn left and walk along the row of buildings on your right towards the fork in the road. You won’t walk far before you see the building in Picture 10; that's the cable car station. If you're unsure, you can also search Google maps for: Funicolare di Castel San Pietol. - After buying a ticket from the machine, you can take the cable car. The ticket machine accepts credit cards and seems to accept cash as well. #Travel #Verona #Travel Tips
