Virginia Beach: Where Time Slows Down ⏳🌊
Just a 1.5-hour drive from Richmond to VA Beach, and you’ll bring back memories filled with ocean breeze~ It’s one of my favorite getaways near the DMV! 💙 If you’ve never tried kayaking 🛶, highly recommend First Landing State Park! (Even if you don’t kayak, it’s a great spot for crabbing 🦀 — $10 parking fee per car.) You can book via Chesapean Outdoors on Google. The tour is around 2 hours, but you can paddle back anytime if you get tired. You might even spot dolphins! 🐬👀 I’ve also developed a love for watching geese 🦢 by the lake! I stayed at The Founders Inn and Spa (part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection) — their shimmering Swan Lake and a little French-style garden are perfect for lazy relaxing 💐🍃 At Shaking Crab, you MUST try the shaken seafood bag — go for the scallops and snow crab 🦀😋! So plump and worth it. I ate there two days in a row, hehe. Also loved American Brew for coffee ☕️ — amazing brews and tasty brunch toasts. Definitely a vibe! We wanted to visit a lighthouse too 🗼, but it was near a military zone and unfortunately access was restricted for Chinese citizens. 🚫 Wishing everyone a joyful autumn adventure! 🍂 (And…I lost my favorite sunglasses that I’d had for almost 10 years 😭🕶️) #DMV #VirginiaBeach #VA #TravelVA #Kayaking #SeafoodLovers #FallGetaway
