Virginia Beach Food Guide
Spent a long weekend at VA Beach ποΈ The weather is still a bit chilly by the shore these days π So we basically ate and slept for three days straight But surprisingly, the Chinese food and seafood there are absolutely amazing! So delicious π¦π π¦ͺπ¦ Seafood 1οΈβ£ The Atlantic This place is all over Xiaohongshu, and it did not disappoint! Apart from raw oysters (a bit salty) and raw clams, their grilled oysters are a must-try! Topped with cheese, spinach, and bacon β savory, rich, and flavorful π§ Their specials are also worth trying. We had the spicy soft-shell crab and lobster pasta β both were fantastic! 2οΈβ£ CP Shuckers Cafe and Raw Bar Super American and unpretentious π The portions are huge! Raw oysters are cheap β 12 for $18, but not as cleanly prepared as the first place. Their mussels cooked with wine and garlic were light and delicious, not heavy at all. We also tried the fish & chips and crab cakes β fresh and full of natural seafood flavor! ππ± Chinese Food 1οΈβ£ Judyβs Sichuan This place serves Chinese food thatβs not overly heavy or greasy. Must-order: Dry-Braised Eggplant β the sauce is absolutely divine! Dry-Fried Pork Intestines β cleaned thoroughly and packed with flavor. Dan Dan Noodles β rich sesame aroma. Mouthwatering Chicken β the seasoning is authentically Sichuan-style, and the chicken is boneless thigh meat (very American-friendly π). 2οΈβ£ Noodle Man A small shop specializing in Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. The broth is authentic, and the noodles are hand-pulled perfectly! The beef portion is generous and super tender. We also tried the Taiwanese-style tomato beef brisket noodles with pickled greens β so good! They also have a variety of Sichuan and Jiangzhe-style dim sum. π₯€ Bubble Tea 1οΈβ£ The Whale Tea Besides bubble tea, they also serve adorable smiley face egg waffles π Hope this helps for your next food adventure! π΄β¨ #VirginiaBeachEats #VAFood #FoodReview #StudentEats #DMVDining
