Just came back from my first trip to Virginia Beach — and it was for a wedding! 💒 Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but this place totally won me over. ☀️ Weather in early April was perfect — 28°C, sunny with a light breeze. Warm enough to dip my toes (or more!) in the ocean 🌊, yet not too hot for strolls along the shore. 🏨 Stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Oceanfront — waking up to ocean views never gets old 😍. Also checked out the Marriott across the street — both are great choices for families! 🍽 Food highlights: Fresh seafood everywhere 🦀 Cozy brunch spots with ocean views ✈️ Only an hour’s flight from NYC — perfect for a stress-free weekend escape with the family! 💭 Thought: Weddings can be boring… but getting to explore a new city because of one? Absolutely priceless.
