Visited Barclay Prime in Philadelphia | A Highly-Rated Steakhouse

🔥A few weeks ago, I had dinner at The Love. with friends, where the main courses were mostly carb-heavy, and I felt like something was missing. I wanted to find a place where I could really indulge in some meat, and several friends recommended this place, so my friend and I decided to go immediately. 🔥I didn't take a photo of the pre-dinner bread, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I still think the best pre-dinner bread in Philadelphia is from Butcher and Singer. Last time, my friends and I devoured two baskets of it. 🌸P1: Oyster on the Half Shell: The oysters were really fresh, and the little sauce on the side was the star of the dish. Tuna Tartare: At first glance, the presentation really reminded me of ramen. The taste was average. The most impressive one I’ve had was at MOYO in Hong Kong (I’ll have to remember that for future reference). 🔥Metropolitano and Love Portion #9: We only ordered two cocktails because we had to go back and send out some resumes later. We asked the waiter to recommend something on the sweeter side, but I personally preferred the Love one, which was tangy and refreshing. 🌸P2: Porterhouse (Medium Rare): The steak was incredibly flavorful and juicy. It’s the most recommended dish here, and my friend and I finished it all. Sides: My ranking is truffle whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, and Kennett Square mushrooms. When we ordered, the waiter said the sides were quite large and that we could share one, but when the dishes arrived, we felt two weren’t enough and added mashed potatoes. I guess my friend and I were just really hungry! #Steakhouse #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaFood #AmbianceRestaurant #AmbientWesternCuisine
