Visited the FIFA Museum in Zurich

This post is about a must-visit place when traveling to Zurich: the FIFA Museum. This is the city where the headquarters of FIFA is located, the center of European and even global football! As a football fan for over a decade ⚽️, how could I not make a pilgrimage here? 🚗: The museum is not far from other attractions in Zurich, and public transportation is very convenient and punctual. It only takes about ten minutes by tram from near Lindenhof Hill. 🎫: Tickets can be booked online through the FIFA Museum's official website or purchased on-site. An adult full-price ticket costs around 26 CHF, while student tickets are discounted at 19 CHF. I recommend booking online from the official website, as you can choose your visit date, saving time and effort. The museum is divided into two basement levels and two above-ground floors. In my opinion, the second basement level is the highlight. The entire floor is dedicated to FIFA World Cup memorabilia, from the first World Cup to the 2022 Qatar edition. Each World Cup has its own display area, featuring the championship jerseys, players' kits, and match balls. The walls are adorned with many iconic moments and classic scenes from each tournament, leaving you in awe! 🥇 The most awe-inspiring part has to be the FIFA World Cup Trophy. Seeing the trophy that has been held aloft by football legends like Pelé, Maradona, Zidane, Cannavaro, Lahm, and Messi is truly a moving experience. It's hard not to feel a wave of emotion when you see it up close! ⚽️ Of course, the museum also covers the history of the Women's World Cup. Stars like Morgan, Marta, Rapinoe, Popp, and Bonmati are featured on the walls, and there's even a section dedicated to the Chinese women's football team. The heartbreaking loss in the penalty shootout that led to their runner-up finish is truly regrettable. In addition to the exhibition area, the second basement level also has a small cinema showing "The Finals," a World Cup-themed short film. The film cleverly combines many classic moments from various World Cup finals, creating a sense of art that transcends time and space. The film's conclusion earned continuous applause from the audience—it's truly amazing and breathtaking! 🎬 The "Player Making" section on the second floor is also highly recommended. It's like a gallery, showcasing the growth stories and life insights of many world-famous footballers. I saw Harry Kane, the No. 9 striker of my beloved team, and Didier Drogba, the legendary Chelsea striker whom I deeply admire. This section is very well-made and heartfelt! ❤️ In the World Footballer of the Year section, I saw one of my all-time favorite players, Robert Lewandowski, the winner for two consecutive years (2020-2021). That man who brought countless beautiful memories to my football-watching journey... Time flies, and now his jersey from his time with my team has become a collector's item, a part of the past that can never be reclaimed. The pilgrimage to the FIFA Museum lived up to my expectations! It not only left me with beautiful memories of the numerous exhibits but also reaffirmed my unwavering love and dedication. Even if you've faded from your prime, I'll still be there with you through the tough times, walking the muddy and winding paths until you return to your familiar and powerful self. 🌟 #FIFAMuseum #WorldCupTrophy
