Wandering and Reflecting in Žilina, the Fourth-Largest City

I stopped over in Žilina, Slovakia's fourth-largest city. Google Maps doesn't cover its public transport, so I had to download a local app, but the city is quite compact overall.😍😍😍 I've grown accustomed to documenting my thoughts and feelings on Xiaohongshu, though my posts might seem a bit incoherent. Yet, after several revisions, they do reflect my efforts to match the content with appropriate captions.😊😊😊 Since I haven't deeply immersed myself in local European life, I can only guess about their lifestyle based on external cues. I've observed young people leisurely walking their dogs, middle-aged folks strolling at a relaxed pace, and children hopping around the streets.😁😁😁 Generally, Europe appears to maintain a slower pace of life. Although there are crowds, people aren't as stressed as in Asia, where many frown, quicken their steps while typing on their phones, or focus intently on some grand, distant "goal" even when not using their devices. I've reflected on how our fixation on future goals, concentrating solely on them and ignoring our surroundings and the present moment, might not actually be beneficial. After all, we can't resolve imagined future challenges through current efforts alone. Daily anxiety only breeds more anxiety. Problems that will arise a year from now require a year's worth to address. Worrying about them now only drains our energy without allowing us to the strength needed to tackle future hurdles. This merely leaves us feeling weaker.❤️❤️❤️ It reminds me of how, as a child, I perceived adults as towering figures, only to discover their ordinariness as I grew up. #Slovakia #GeographicalKnowledge #Travel
