Wanderlog|Seeing Lisbon in Salvador
Finally took a trip to Salvador with colleagues! 🛍️ Black Friday Shopping at Shopping Salvador The mall is well-designed with lots to explore – Farm is a must-visit! Caught a 60% off sale with insane crowds. Everyone eyed each other’s picked dresses fiercely – we each scored two gorgeous ones. 🍚 Lunch at Kion Korean Cuisine Pricey but tasty! Since dishes took forever, the sweaty owner likely cooked everything himself. 👍 Recs: Egg rolls, kimchi pancake, ramen, dumplings. 👎 Skip: Overly salty fried chicken sauce & jjajangmyeon (adjusted for Brazilian tastes). Oceanfront location – perfect for a post-meal stroll on sunny days! 🌇 São Francisco Church & Convent The architecture and classic Portuguese cobblestones instantly transported me to Rossio in Lisbon. But the vibrant drumbeats in the streets and spontaneous dancing by Black locals yanked me back to Brazil. After a month of work, I’ve finally found Brazil’s beauty in Salvador. #Brazil #Salvador #SouthAmerica
