Warm and Cozy Braised Beef Brisket and Tendon Pot in New York 🍲
❤️ The harsh drop in temperature in New York calls for some steaming hot pot action. Perfect timing to bring Baby along to try my all-time favorite cumin sauce hot pot! 💜 Braised Beef Brisket and Tendon Pot: This seems to be a new dish, as it wasn’t there last time I ate. It’s a perfect match for the cold winter! The beef brisket pieces are super large, and the tendons are so soft and glutinous. One bite and you’re in heaven! Even the side dishes like tofu skin and cabbage are soaked in the sauce, super flavorful! The broth has a slight spicy kick, which is very refreshing and won’t get greasy. Plus, the pot stays warm on the stove, so even while chatting, you don’t have to worry about the food getting cold. 💛 Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Balls with Handmade Rice Cake: This combination is totally up my alley. The salted egg yolk is abundant and fragrant! The shrimp is plump and bouncy, and the handmade rice cakes are soft and glutinous, coated in salted egg yolk – too delicious to miss! ❤️ Old Beijing Grilled Lamb: As a southerner, this was my first time trying it. It’s quite novel, similar to a iron plate lamb. The sizzling sound when it arrives is truly satisfying. The lamb is layered with onions and green peppers, which not only cuts the grease but also doesn’t overpower the flavor – thumbs up! The lamb is aromatic. 🩵 Copper Pot Meat Hot Pot + Sesame Sauce + Sesame Sauce Baked Cake: The classic combo that I always order. The hand-cut fresh lamb is particularly tender, with no gamey taste, and it’s super satisfying when paired with sesame sauce! The sesame sauce flavor is authentic and seems to go well with everything! This time, I also chose ribeye steak, which was incredibly tender, almost melting in the mouth! Highly recommended. #TreasureRestaurantShare #RestaurantRecommendation #NewYorkLife #NewYork #NewYorkFoodExploration #TreasureRestaurantShare #RestaurantRecommendation #NewYorkLife #NewYork #NewYorkFoodExploration #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodStrategy #NewYorkFoodExploration
