Watching the Olympics in Paris, and still enjoying gourmet meals 🏃♂️
Ever since the Paris Olympics began, I've been watching tennis at Roland Garros until I witnessed Xiao Zheng claim the Olympic championship. 🍷🥂 Athletes work incredibly hard, and I also feel quite exhausted from rushing to watch the matches every day. 🍷🥂 During the few days off, I went to have some beautiful meals. Paris during the Olympics has entered a full vacation mode, and I tried to enjoy a life that's both resident and traveler. 🍷🥂 In the evening, I dined at ONYX near the Galeries Lafayette. I often pass by, and it's conveniently accessible. After shopping at Galeries Lafayette, one can directly head there. I also noticed it had high scores on Google Maps, which made me eager to try it. 🍷🥂 I chose the tasting menu, which was very suitable for summer with its flavors and sauces. The appetizer of sea bass and shellfish was enhanced with passion fruit sauce, making it sweet and sour and extremely appetizing. The two main courses, cod and beef, were fresh and tender, with rich but not heavy sauces. The dessert was a strawberry tart, which berry lovers devoured in no time, leaving them still craving more. 🍷🥂 I also want to praise the two cocktails I ordered before the meal, a melon vodka and an orange vodka, both of which were unexpectedly delicious. The tipsy state was a wonderful start to the dinner mode. 🍷🥂 After dinner, on the way home, I passed by the Eiffel Tower just as it lit up, and I still love Paris in the summer. 🍷🥂By the way, although ONYX is a newly opened restaurant, it is often fully booked, so try to make a reservation in advance, especially for lunch. #AtmosphericRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurantShare #FrenchCuisine #Paris #ParisFood #ParisFoodExploration #ParisFrenchCuisineRecommendation #ParisOlympics
